UK inflation rate falls to 0.5% in December 2014
The Consumer Prices Index (CPI) measure of inflation fell to 0.5% in December, according to the Office for National Statistics.

UK workers increased their output per hour by 0.6% in the period from July to September 2014.
Productivity still remains about 2% below its pre-recession level of 2008.
